Ultra Stick acrylic double sided tape is the entry level acrylic tape for more demanding applications and where you require a longer cure. This is ideal for laminate to laminate and plastics work. Once applied, this product offers outstanding durability and stability in varying environments and temperatures. If you have tried other high tack double sided tapes and still want something more aggressive, this is the next step up from standard high tack tapes before going up to Endurance or Polyester adhesive tapes.
Ultra Stick is a yellow buff colour and uses an acrylic glue that will need 24 hours to cure. It’s common to not feel such an aggressive grab or tackiness when you first use this tape but with time and pressure the acrylic adhesive will form a very strong permanent bond. When applying pressure should be applied to make sure good bonding is achieved to both receiving surfaces. It is important that no strain is put on the taped joint until the curing period is over, as this will prevent a strong bond being achieved. Full curing time takes up to 24 hours.
