Our Glass Transit Foam Pads are the trusted choice for protecting glass and other delicate surfaces during storage and transport. Measuring 22 x 18 x 4mm, these high-density PVC foam pads provide reliable cushioning between glazed units, frames, or panels—minimising the risk of scratches, chips, or impact damage.
Each pad is coated with a very low tack acrylic adhesive that holds securely in place during transit but removes cleanly without leaving residue on glass, metal, or plastic surfaces.
Manufactured using premium-grade 4mm PVC foam (density 280kg/m³), these pads are designed to perform in demanding environments. Whether you’re working with sealed units, mirrors, or aluminium frames, they offer dependable separation and surface protection from workshop to installation.

Typical applications for these foam pads include:
🔹 Glass and Glazing Industry – Used to separate and protect sheets of glass, windows, mirrors, or glazed units during storage and transport. They prevent scratching, chipping, or impact damage.
🔹 Aluminium or uPVC Frame Protection – Placed between frames to avoid rubbing or marking during handling and delivery.
🔹 Double Glazing Units (DGUs) – Often applied to insulated glass units to maintain spacing and protect the sealed edges in transit.
🔹 General Fragile Product Transit – Useful for any smooth, delicate surface that needs to be kept scratch-free and secure during movement, such as polished metals or ceramics.
They’re popular because the low-tack adhesive holds the pad in place but won’t leave a mark—making them perfect for anything valuable, glossy, or sensitive.

Delivery to UK destinations is easy and flexible, our basic guidelines are:
- Order by 4pm for next day delivery on all products, subject to stock. (With over 35 million finishing supplies in stock you should be safe!)
- Same day deliveries are offered for almost all UK mainland destinations. To arrange this simply email or call us now and we will quickly reply with a delivery rate for your location.
- No minimum order level.
- All standard delivery services are via a tracked courier, so you receive detailed updates and can fully track your parcel. We use DX and DHL.
- Small orders up to £60 value can be sent on a 3 day tracked service. If your order is urgent we always recommend a standard tracked delivery for fast next day delivery.*
- Pay the same flat delivery charges, no matter what weight or volume your order is.
- Any order over £125 online qualifies for free standard next day delivery to any UK mainland address.*
* Please note: the 3 day delivery only option and free delivery over £125 are website offers only. For orders placed via phone or email, the standard £12.50 delivery charge applies to all orders under £150.
