Our traditional padding press is solid and durable for all pads up to SRA3 paper sizes. We first designed this press in 1995 and have been producing a similar model ever since due to the simple and robust performance. Capacity is up to 10,000 sheets, depending on materials used and you can quickly glue many notebooks and pads at once. We recommend our Presco trade padding adhesive for all of your standard padding requirements.
A padding press is an essential tool for efficiently gluing notebooks and other documents using padding glue. The process begins by stacking the sheets to be glued together neatly, aligning them precisely within the padding press. Once the stack is arranged, the padding glue is generously applied along the edges using a brush or similar applicator, ensuring an even and consistent coating.
After the adhesive is applied, a clamp or pressure bar is employed to compress the stack within the press, exerting uniform pressure to facilitate the bonding process. This compression helps the glue penetrate the paper fibres, ensuring a secure and durable bond.
Once the padding glue has dried and the pages are firmly bound, the press is released, revealing a neatly padded stack of documents or notebooks. The press bar provides the necessary pressure for a professional finish, resulting in securely bound materials suitable for notepads, legal pads, or any other padded documents. This efficient and straightforward process makes the padding press an indispensable tool in commercial printing, stationery production, and other industries requiring precise and reliable document binding.

- Order by 4pm for next day delivery on all products, subject to stock. (With over 35 million finishing supplies in stock you should be safe!)
- Same day deliveries are offered for almost all UK mainland destinations. To arrange this simply email or call us now and we will quickly reply with a delivery rate for your location.
- No minimum order level.
- All standard delivery services are via a tracked courier, so you receive detailed updates and can fully track your parcel. We use FedEx and DPD.
- Small orders up to £60 value can be sent on a 3 day tracked service. If your order is urgent we always recommend a standard tracked delivery for fast next day delivery.*
- Pay the same flat delivery charges, no matter what weight or volume your order is.
- Any order over £99 online qualifies for free standard next day delivery to any UK mainland address.*
