Company Ethics - Our Responsibilities to All

Presco strives to be a socially responsible company that acts on our ethics.

People come first. We look after our staff and ensure they are supported and developed in their lives and careers. This starts with a commitment to always pay above the real living wage and includes promoting a family culture where all staff meet together each morning and team members always help each other out.

Charitable action is part of our worldview. We believe in giving back to the community by donations and volunteer work, first at a local level and then wider support of global humanitarian programmes. You can find out more about who we support below.

Covid19 presented business and social challenges that companies had never had to face before. Presco supported all staff at full pay throughout furlough and isolation. As a team we had to adapt and managed to keep service levels high and stocks and manufacturing continued at good levels.

We're grateful that through the support and hard work of our staff by 2021 revenue was back to pre-Covid levels and we have been able to keep supporting our customers through this time.

Charity in Action

We engage with many charities both locally and globally to give back what we can through donations and time. Some we have worked with for over 20 years and the work they do in improving living conditions is essential and relied upon. Charities we promote and support are listed below:

RRT - supporting the volunteers who care for front line emergency services through catering, organisation of planned events and charitable projects globally like drought relief and natural disaster support. You can find out  more about their work and donate here.

Prospect Hospice - you can find out more and donate here online to help support people's last days with dignity and kindness from the team at Prospect Hospice.

The Grace Trust - a trust we have supported for many years, distributing donations to many causes close to us including Great Ormond Street Hospital, disaster relief, poverty campaigners and other support for those in need. You can find out more here.

Support for Ukraine. We have watched the tragedy in Ukraine with great sadness. We are supporting local efforts to supply aid and also donating to globally co-ordinated efforts to provide supplies and help wherever we can.

Larger Community Projects

We support several community development projects including education centres, places of worship and community shops. Our support is both financial and practical and many staff members are volunteers on these projects.
