The Presco Story
1969: It all begins as DPS, architectural drawings which extend to laminated illustrations, giftware and other supplies. In 1983 the company begins offering laminating services and supply of presentation products, by 1990 a new name of 'Print Presentation' and regular finishing supplies catalogues start. The company becomes mail order, catering to an increasing number of printers across the UK. In 1997 the A5 Print Presentation catalogue is recognised as the go-to guide for printers and rapid expansion means that by 1999 we move to a new 25,000 square foot premises and Print Presentation becomes Presco.
In 2000 Presco Europe is founded in Dublin and in the next few years Presco goes online with our first e commerce shop and start to hear from lots of new customers looking for our products. In 2014 Presco France is launched and new websites for the company are launched to make buying online as simple as possible.
Over 35 years since we started stocking and selling finishing supplies we are moving forward fast with new products and innovation for niche fixings into print and many other industries.
Our company is almost unrecognisable from its beginnings – apart from our unswerving commitment to customer care.That's always been the same, since the beginning. You might be interested to know that in the last 15 years over 1 million catalogues have been sent out to our customers, over 20,000 happy customers have experienced the Presco service and today we have over 35 million items in stock in our Swindon warehouse! This is made up of over 2,900 unique product lines stocked for next day delivery, so it keeps us on our toes to fulfil our service promises!
