Our most popular wire binder ever due to its flexibility for all documents up to 16mm thickness. It will punch up to 25 sheets of 80gsm paper in one go and, thanks to its selectable pins, it will also punch non-standard sizes up to 360mm in length. The SRW 360 will bind from 2.5mm up to 16mm thick using wire numbers 3 to 10 and has an adjustable margin depth meaning that you can vary the distance from the edge of the sheet to the punched holes, ideal for different thicknesses of document. As a manual machine it can be placed on any workshop surface to quickly punch and bind any document for an immediate result.

To wire bind any document, start by gathering the pages in order and aligning them precisely by tapping onto a solid surface. Punch holes along one edge of the stack using the machine. If you have a cover to punch such as a clear plastic or frosted cover you will need to do this separately from any paper pages to avoid them slipping.
Once the document is punched, insert the wire binding element through the holes. Ensure the wire binding machine is set to the correct size for the document, this may be a small separate adjustment knob (as on this machine, the SRW 360). Use the wire binding machine closer handle to compress and close the wire loops, securing the document. You may need to practice first to ensure you get the desired closing compression without crushing the wire. The wire element should end up perfectly round, with no gap between the ends of the wire loops along its length.
This straightforward process creates a professional and secure bound document suitable for presentations, reports, or manuals.
