Crimping pliers are for use during document binding with plastic coils. They are for the important final step of crimping the plastic coil to stop it coming out of the bound document. Whether you are using an electric punch and inserter or manually inserting coils, these pliers are invaluable for crimping the end of the coil to ensure the coil stays put. Some coil binding machines do have a built in crimping device so you would not need these separate pliers, but in our experience. they are a handy item to have around for the jobs that do need them.
Plastic coil binding is considered safer than twin loop wire binding due to its flexible and durable nature. Plastic coils are made from a softer material, reducing the risk of injuries compared to the sharper edges of twin loop wires. The coils are also less likely to snag on clothing or other items, minimising the potential for accidents. - Order by 4pm for next day delivery on all products, subject to stock. (With over 35 million finishing supplies in stock you should be safe!)
- Same day deliveries are offered for almost all UK mainland destinations. To arrange this simply email or call us now and we will quickly reply with a delivery rate for your location.
- No minimum order level.
- All standard delivery services are via a tracked courier, so you receive detailed updates and can fully track your parcel. We use FedEx and DPD.
- Small orders up to £60 value can be sent on a 3 day tracked service. If your order is urgent we always recommend a standard tracked delivery for fast next day delivery.*
- Pay the same flat delivery charges, no matter what weight or volume your order is.
- Any order over £99 online qualifies for free standard next day delivery to any UK mainland address.*
